Synopsis
Opening The Raven's Den with his two closest friends, was supposed to quiet Patrick's inner demons that insist he's useless. A dozen years later, they're still there. All he wanted was to hide from their taunting between the legs of a willing woman for the night, but when the madam sends Rosie into the room and she obviously has no wish to be there, what can he do but save her?
Rosalyn's own stepfather sold her to a brothel, and her first customer has… rescued her? He got her out of there, at least, but what could the owner of a gaming hell possibly want with her? Worse, rather than being terrified of his intimidating size and the secrets he keeps, her wanton body seems to react to everything Patrick does.
Keeping Rosie safe finally gives Patrick's life a sense of meaning. But when his own desires might be the thing that hurts her how will he protect her from himself?
