Epilogue

Wynn

"We're going to have fun and we're going to play. There's nothing to worry about." I was just being nice but Boone sighed and raised one eyebrow as he turned down the long driveway.

"I'm not the one who's been bouncing around the car and obsessing. That's also the same peptalk I gave you when we got in the car." Reaching over, he pretended to strangle me. "If anyone gets to be nervous it's me. You dressed me up like Jackson for Halloween."

Cooper had a problem with oversharing.

"Oops?" It was going to be fine. "Jackson thought it was funny."

And kind of cute…but kind of weird…he was confusing sometimes because it'd been amazing.

"Cooper thought it was funny. I told him that you were an amazing Jackson." And I'd told him about how well Halloween had gone too.

That was when we finally realized how close we lived and that we should get together to hang out. Doing it as people had been great but we were doing it as pups and that was making Boone nervous.

Not me. Just Boone.

"I'm an amazing Handler." He gave me another glare as he parked the car in front of their house. "I'm not an amazing Jackson."

Was he jealous?

Oh.

Okay, new plan.

"You were and you are. You're the best." Releasing the seat belt as soon as he put the car in park, I threw myself at him. "You adapted faster than Jackson, so you can be proud of that. But don't tell him I know about that. He'll probably tell you the story, though, so you have to pretend not to know anything that might embarrass him."

I wasn't sure where that line was but we were going to be careful with it anyway.

"The best, huh?" Looking skeptical and clearly trying not to smile, he wrapped his arms around me and gave me a kiss. "Don't forget that."

"Never." Resting my forehead against his in his favorite position, I grinned. "I told Cooper how amazing you are as a Dom and a Handler and he's probably told everyone already."

Everyone.

He liked to talk.

"He seems to know Skyler through some work convention kind of stuff and Skyler said you were amazing too." And sexy. "They can't wait to meet you."

So they could see that Skyler hadn't been exaggerating.

Boone rolled his eyes, but I got another kiss. "You just want to have fun with the tail pup."

Giggling, I nodded. "Cooper's an inside tail pup and Sawyer's going to be an outside tail pup. I told them that we're both comfortable with anything they want to wear."

In the months since we'd started exploring the kink scene in the area, we'd met a lot of different kinds of pups, but Cooper had become one of my favorites to talk to. I just hoped he was as fun to play with as he was to talk to.

"That's right." Boone held me tight as I tried to wiggle back in my seat. "Nope. You're mine."

He was such a brat.

"I'm stuck." I wiggled a bit just to tease him but he tightened his grip and gave me a sexy glare. "I'll be good."

Maybe.

He laughed before I could think of a good way to say that, though. "Bullshit. You're going to be naughty and tease the tail pup."

Hmm.

"Nooo…I'm your good boy." Kissing his cheek, I did my best to look wide-eyed and innocent. "Me trying to make him wag hard enough to come would be very naughty. I'm your good pup."

Mostly.

But Cooper deserved it for tattling on me.

And Sawyer agreed with me.

Boone tried to roll his eyes and look stern but my innocent act was more believable. "Fine. You're going to be very good. I believe you."

Giggling, I flopped back against the passenger door when I tugged and he actually let me go. "We're going to have so much fun. You're going to throw the ball, right? I don't have any little friends to do it."

Cooper didn't seem to realize pups were supposed to have littles to throw the balls, but he was okay with Boone and Jackson doing it.

For some reason, he didn't understand they were for cuddles and littles were for playing. But it was fine, everyone explored kinks in their own ways.

Mine was just right.

"You're such a brat." Shaking his head, Boone almost managed to hide his smile. "But no spankings for you for a week if you upset Jackson."

Oh, that would be terrible.

Luckily for me, Sawyer had already talked to his Master.

"Yes, Sir." That had Boone looking appropriately skeptical but I bounced out of the car before he could question me.

I might actually tattle on myself if he aimed the right expression at me.

That was the hardest part about going from friends to boyfriends…he had a lot more ways to talk me into stuff like that.

"For fuck's sake. What did you do?" Boone might've thought he was going to get an answer, but luckily for me, Cooper came rushing out of the house so I could pretend I hadn't heard.

"Hi." He managed not to run into me but it was close. "You're here."

"I am." I wasn't as bouncy as him, but he only won by a hair. "I have my costume in the car."

My new costume was so much cuter than being naked, another thing that Cooper didn't understand either. I had a swinging tail and a cute hood like my first beagle costume and it had a zipper at the back so Boone could do wonderfully naughty things to his pup.

"Show me." Cooper grabbed my hand and tugged me closer to the car. "I can't wait."

He'd been helping me look for the hoods like the other pups had, but so far, I hadn't found the perfect one. Boone said that was okay because I didn't need to shop for anything else, but he was just looking for a new reason to spank me, so it'd be rude not to give him one.

"We're going to have so much fun. Even Sawyer is getting ready to play." Cooper was even more excited about that than he had been about my costume. "He even said it would be okay for me to have my favorite tail in."

Yep.

And I was going to make sure the tattletale wore himself out.

Sometimes naughty pups just needed to get worn out to learn their lessons.

Not me.

Just some pups.

I was Boone's good boy and his sweet pup, and if anyone asked me otherwise, I was going to plead the Fifth.
