14. Chapter 14

A certain boy kept racing through my thoughts, and it didn’t let up at work. There, I walked past the tree where Will had left his note to Santa, stood by the register where I talked to him for the first time, and took the escalator to the spot where I gave him my number and asked him out.
Everything reminded me of Will, and it was making me glad for tight briefs to hide how often my brain went to very un-business-like thoughts. Like how his mouth had been amazing, and I wanted a repeat along with getting my mouth on his dick as well. I wanted to spank Will’s round cheeks until they were glowing before sinking into his tight heat. We were both tested and on meds, so I was dying to fill him with my cum, maybe plug him after to keep a piece of me inside of the boy.
“You should just text him,” Ellen suggested after catching me staring off into space for at least the third time on Tuesday afternoon. I coughed and turned back to the display I was merchandising.
She made this suggestion as if I hadn’t already been texting with Will since the day before when he’d left my place. Will texted me to let me know he’d arrived at work safely, then we didn’t stop. He got home late, but I insisted Will call me to say goodnight.
We ended up facetime so I could talk dirty to Will until he came hard for me before giving me a sweet, “Thank you, Daddy.”
Tuesday started with me sending him a good morning message before my run and a sweaty shirtless pic after. Will sent me a special melting heart-eye emoji and I was dying to see him again.
I let him know when I got to work, but Will hadn’t replied to my last message when I started on the shelves. I knew he didn’t bring his phone on the field when he was mowing. Something about an employee dropping theirs and getting it destroyed a few years before. I wanted to hear all of his stories.
Unfortunately, I had corporate bosses on site for the week and it meant a lot of dinners out with them instead of with my boy.
My boy had a nice ring to it, and I wanted Will to be my boy for more than a scene. When to tell him was the question.
Even though I hated waiting to see him in person for days, Will was worth the wait. After a week of holiday shoppers with the CEO and directors breathing down my neck, I had plans to put it all away and focus solely on Will.
My phone buzzed in my pocket and I pulled it out to see Will had heart-reacted to my last text. Perfect timing, I could firm up plans while I had the reminder from Ellen.
Hey, baby boy. I’m not free until Saturday night, but I have Sunday off. Spend the weekend with me?
Will
The Seals have an out-of-town game, so I’m off all weekend!
I’ll take that as a yes, Sweetheart?
Will
Yes, Daddy.
“Texted him,” I told Ellen while straightening the row of stuffed animals.
“Making plans to get married and have his babies?” Ellen asked and I had to laugh.
“Don’t know about all of that,” I chuckled and stepped back to compare the display to the image my boss had sent to make sure it was right. The bigwigs were set to arrive any minute, and I needed to focus. Smirking, I put my phone with the image of the display aside and admitted, “But I like him a lot.”
“You like him , like him,” Ellen sang with a teasing tone like we were in grade school. “I saw the way you looked at him, and you brought the man to your work to sit on Santa’s lap.”
“So?” I bristled, hoping my friend wasn't being judgmental. We didn’t get into our kinks, considering we worked together, but I hadn’t thought Ellen would care.
All I found on her face was a knowing smile. Then she added an eye roll, “It was disgustingly adorable.”
“Ha, I’ll take that as a compliment,” I replied dryly. There was one teddy bear that didn’t quite fit with how the middle shelf was supposed to be set up, so I picked him up and toyed with his bow. “I think I’ll get you for Will,” I told the bear.
“Oh, boy,” Ellen sighed and I looked up to find her smiling again. “You know you’re gone for the guy when you start talking to inanimate objects. It’s twu love , mark my words.”
“Will was looking at these bears the day he came in,” I explained. I didn’t add the bit about him wanting a teddy bear in the note to Santa. “And I should get him something for Christmas next week.”
Without waiting for Ellen to reply, I took the bear over to an unused register by the jewelry section and rang myself up. She only teased me a little more after that, because the head bosses showed up a few minutes later.
The teddy bear had to stay at my desk until Saturday when none of the corporate folks were insisting we go out for dinner and drinks after work, because they flew out that morning. By then, I’d made a few decisions.
The note Will wrote to Santa had been stored in my desk, but I took it out and tied the shiny gold ribbon around the bear’s arm. I wasn’t waiting until Christmas.
Pulling out my favorite fountain pen, I added a note to Will on the blank side of his note. I was going to give Will the bear, tell him about reading the note, and ask him to be mine.
If Will said yes, I would make sure everything he wished for came true.
