Epilogue
Freddy
S tanding at the altar was a very familiar situation to be in.
Fortunately for Freddy, this time it was also the perfect one.
A wide smile stretched across his face as he stood beside the priest, watching as Lizzie slowly made her way down the aisle that had been formed with scattered petals along the high cliffs overlooking the sea. She was beautiful in her wedding dress, with trailing sleeves that fell off her shoulders, flowing gracefully down to meet the train of her dress. Her hair was twisted and curled, dotted with pearls and diamonds that sparkled in the sunlight. But it was her smile, bright and beaming, that made his heart swell.
And with that smile, Freddy knew.
All of the joys of their childhood, all of the pain and heartache of their youth, every mile of their long journey, every tear that was shed and smile that was shared—they had all come together to fashion between them a bond of ice and sunshine that would never be broken
Freddy knew the future would be bright.
After all, this is finally your wedding day.
