Violence is never the answer… until it is.

    Rin

Brutality has been the cage surrounding me for most of my life. Each regime comes and goes, but the goal remains the same. To take our voices. Our education. Our freedom.

Now this alien says he plans to confine me. No. This is a new world, and I refuse to live the same oppressive way light years from Earth. His actions let me know he doesnt just embrace violence, he loves it, and I just cant accept that. Or him.

    Kuret

How will I protect her? How can I fulfill my promise if she says one more act of aggression, and she will leave me?

The moment I see her, I cant keep images out of my head of how her white hair would look against my skin. But it cannot be. She is far too young for a donor, and I cant be the cause of her death. I would never forgive myself.

It shouldnt matter if she cant forgive me for what I did when we first met. Its not as if males and females can be friends… or more… but hope simply wont die.

Note: Books in this series end in as HFN. They can be read alone, but it will take all the women and their mates to fight for their collective HEA. It will be more enjoyable if read in sequence.

This series is meant for readers 18+ and includes explicit content and violence, with dark themes. Beware of triggers.

Can hope and understanding forge an unlikely bond?

    Eli

In some sort of sick joke, I finally find the courage to give my stepfather exactly what he deserves, just to end up kidnapped, then stuck on an alien island with one of the most violent beings imaginable.

The octo-man says hes just biding his time until he can make a meal out of me, and I only have so much time to convince him theres a different way to live. That we are only as strong as the people we have around us. All I get in return are blank, shark-eyed looks, but Im determined to make him believe.

Its that, or death. If it takes me a thousand words to make him understand, well, then thats what it takes.

    Wroahk

Theres something very wrong with me and I will hunt down every one of those gray slimes for taking me from my world.

Shes disgusting, wont stop talking, smells terrible, and I should have killed her the moment I saw her. Except I couldnt.

Instead, Im protecting her. Not that she makes it easy. She has the worst survival instincts of anyone Ive ever met, and since Ive decided no one can hurt her, not even herself, my life will never be the same.

Yes, I will make those slimes scream as I tear them to pieces and feast.

Once a marine, always a marine.

    Kira

Even if youre light years from Earth being followed around by a giant lizard with so much arrogance, he occasionally chokes on it. Not to death, or anything. Nothing as useful as that.

I will admit, hes handy in a fight. Not to mention a lot of fun to tease. I just wish hed stop calling me out for walking around yowling like a cat in heat. Except replace yowling for cursing, then I think youve got the picture.

Regardless of what my raging libido thinks, we are not going there. Nope. No way.

    Drasuk

She is the most confounding being I have ever met. With explosive anger, tirades for any occasion, and nonsensical insults. Despite all my efforts to teach her how to say something clearly, she utters complete insanity.

Its oddly endearing, attractive, even, but drakonids simply dont mate outside our species. It isnt done. Of course, Im not thinking about that. Preposterous.

I just know we are better when we are together. Working toward a common goal. Ours is simple.

    Every hunter must die.

It was a mistake to let us meet, but they wont live to regret it.

    Ree

Ive seen the worst of humanity as an ER nurse, but that didnt prepare me for the depths of evil out among the stars.

They took me, altered me, and placed me in charge of nine women who suffered the same, though they dont yet know it.

They each sleep in their protective cryogenic chambers.

A crash separated us, and now we face the dangers of an alien hunting ground. Hunters come here to stalk the most dangerous males found among the stars.

I must save them, but how will I survive the hunters . . . or the prey?

    Thivoll

I never thought my mate would be among the more primitive species. When I saw them trying to recapture her, I knew it was my chance to redeem myself for being unable to protect the women of my pride.

My species was once the most feared in the known universe.

Until we took the path of peace.

But Ill embrace my ancient barbaric past, because she is mine.

Its time the hunters became the hunted.
