    Historical · Jaime Marie Lang

How would Elizabeth and Darcy’s love story be changed if Elizabeth met Georgianna first?

While offering her support to her aunt in London, Elizabeth Bennet stumbles upon a timid young lady at the charity she volunteers at. With a smile and a few kind words, Elizabeth plants the seeds of a marvelous friendship. Despite the blossoming connection between them, Elizabeths departure is inevitable as her duties back at Longbourn call her home. Nevertheless, they promise to keep in contact.

Georgianna finding a friend boosts Darcys confidence in her progress, despite his initial uneasiness. Her buoyed spirt gives Darcy the confidence he needs to accompany his friend to Netherfield. Only soon after he arrives, he finds himself at an assembly he has no desire to be part of. Darcy instinctively reverts to his typical behavior around unfamiliar faces and things seem to be going well enough. That is until he receives a letter from his little sister, leading him to ponder on his own character and the person he aspires to become. Although an apology helps reconcile Elizabeth and Darcy, neither is prepared for the challenges that lie ahead.

As Mr. Collins makes his entrance, the situation becomes critical. Elizabeth bravely seeks aid, while Darcy confronts the challenge of becoming the person he has always strived to be.

Author’s Note: Darcy, Knight Errant is the first in a new series of books. This sweet romance explores the repercussions of shouldering too many obligations and the challenging quest to relinquish burdens that arent yours to bear. If youre into sweet tales of love that delve into the process of healing from familial expectations and the complicated dynamics of falling in love with your sister’s best friend, then this story could be your cup of tea.

    Romance · Jaime Marie Lang

Society dictates that a lady must wait for the gentleman to declare his interest. But what happens if she gets fed up with this waiting game?

Mary Bennet has loved Gabriel Goulding for nearly as long as her sister Elizabeth has loved Mr. Darcy, but while her sister is happily married and expecting her second child, Mary remains alone and longing to be loved by the man who holds her heart. Every time she sees her happily married sisters with their doting husbands, it serves as a painful reminder of what she longs for but cannot attain. She has tried to show her regard in every way she knows how, but still he has said nothing; he has not even asked for a courtship. Why is she not good enough for Gabriel's love? He is not afraid of hard work, but it will take him years to amass the kind of fortune he will need to buy, even a simple estate. After all, she deserves the very best. Lydia Acquires Adoration (Bennet Ladies Liberation Book 5)
    Historical · Jaime Marie Lang

Choosing to marry for the sake of a child in need inevitably means forfeiting the possibility of experiencing profound love. Or does it?

Rushing to his niece's side when he learns of her father's death, Sebastien finds the five-year-old Clara, neglected and fearful. He promises himself that he will do anything necessary to protect and cherish her. The reading of her fathers will reveals that he can only gain custody if he is married. Not only that, but if he does not marry, she will fall into the hands of her other uncle, Baron Blackthorn, an underhanded and desperate man known for blackmailing the ton. With less than thirty days remaining, he faces the daunting challenge of finding a spouse who will love his niece. He will sacrifice his own chance at finding love to ensure Clara receives the love and care she deserves.

Lydia Bennet has watched all of her sisters fall deeply, irrevocably in Love. Blissfully happy, they all married and started their joyful families. At one time, she thought she was sure to follow in their footsteps, but that was before she met little Clara. According to her father's will, Sebastien Burgess can gain his niece's custody only if he marries within thirty days. Determined to protect the precious child from falling into the hands of her other uncle, Baron Blackthorn, Lydia steps in and offers to marry Sebastien. After all, she hopes it is possible for her to find love with a man she respects even after they are married.

The struggle of persuading her family that she is making the right choice is just the beginning for Lydia and Sebastien, who are unaware of the obstacles they will encounter after exchanging vows. The estate that Clara inherited from her father has been neglected and it will be a struggle to bring it back into order. Things only become more strained when it becomes clear that someone is starting fires. Despite the hurdles they must overcome, can Lydia and Sebastien find the love they both desire?

Authors Note: If youre in search of a Pride and Prejudice Variation that explores the theme of found family, marriages of convenience, and introduces a touch of danger, I strongly suggest giving this novel a chance. Lydia Acquires Adoration is the fifth and final installment in the Bennet Ladies Liberation series. If youve read Kittys story, you may recall Sebastien and his twin Selene, who befriended Kitty during her debut in London. While it is possible to read this story as a standalone, it is highly recommended to experience it in conjunction with the series for a richer understanding.
