    One snowflake changed everything.

Now, I can’t trust anyone or anything ever again, least of all myself.

I thought I was a great judge of character, turns out I’m not. Not even close!

I watch in awe as the delicate ice crystal dances through the air before landing on his face, where it melts in an instant. Snow in the desert. Who could have conceived such a thing?

Before the shimmering drop can even run down his jaw, he changes before my eyes, and everything I knew to be true changes with him.

Taylor became my best friend when I was captured three long years ago. Now, I find out that he isn’t my friend at all but rather my sworn enemy. A fae! He claims he didn’t know. That he was just as much in the dark as I was. That a spell had been cast over him to make him forget who he was.

    I don’t believe him.

I don’t think I’ll trust anything he has to say again.

We escape the salt mines and if we are to stay out of the clutches of our captors, we will need to work together as a team.

Me, work with a fae? Laughable. And yet, here we are.

As soon as I am able, I will leave. I never want to see him again.

I hate him! Loathe might be too tame a word.

I am also suddenly drawn to him in a way that is just plain wrong. I’m attracted to my once-best friend, now very much my enemy. As hard as I try, I can’t resist the twisted pull.

I would leave right now if I could, but I can’t. My very life depends on it.

The dragons on Mistveil Island are not your run-of-the-mill kind. They're something else entirely…

I am stolen away in the middle of the night by a bunch of thugs. It's clear to me that they are shifters. Their tattoos have the telltale red which makes my blood run cold.

    Reds!

One thing is for sure, I'm in a world of trouble. I end up on Mistveil Island, where they discover that they kidnapped the wrong person. I'm so relieved. Surely, they'll let me go back to Draig, or better yet, they'll let me go home to the Mainland.

It doesn't happen. They're not letting me go. It turns out that women are scarce on this island. They're keeping me. There's talk of what they have planned, and it terrifies me.

The dragons on Draig Island are not your run-of-the-mill kind. They're something else entirely…

Things are hotting up on the island. It's Octane's turn.

For the best enjoyment, please read these books in order.

    This story contains mature themes/language.

Also, be prepared for a ton of growls, dirty talk, and a hard-won HEA. Hulking, skulking, foul-mouthed, brooding dragons ahead. You were warned!

Each book follows a different couple.

The dragons on Mistveil Island are not your run-of-the-mill kind. They're something else entirely…

In an attempt to escape Draig Island and my duties as Tribute – whatever those might be – I steal a helicopter.

Probably not the best idea since I'm still learning how to become a helicopter pilot. I thought I had enough hours under my belt to be able to pull it off.

Turns out that I was wrong!

I crash land. I don't think I'm on Draig Island anymore. I'm deep inside a dark jungle. At least I'm not too badly hurt. I'll regroup and then hike to civilization. Please let there be civilization!

I'm a little worried about wild animals, but I'm sure I'll be okay. I refuse to believe in the existence of dragons. I mean, come on! Do they really think we're that gullible?

It hasn't been more than a few hours, and a huge hulk of a man comes crashing out of the undergrowth. He's naked, covered in tattoos, and scares the living daylights out of me. After a little while, I realize that he's not going to hurt me. At least, I don't think he will.

Then I find out that there are many more like him in this jungle. The others are not as friendly. They all want me. Will do anything to get me, including ripping each other apart. All I have is this big, growly stranger for protection. He's willing to help me get to safety…

    But he has a condition.
